As part of our commitment to the development of the next generation of Behavioral Health care providers we are actively looking for individuals currently enrolled in theirMasters Programwith an emphasis in Counseling.We may also accept Bachelors Program interns that have an internship requirement as part of their educational requirements. This is an unpaid experiential learning internship position.

Prior experience working with children a plus!

The Student would be working in partnership with Boys and Girls Club of the Valley branches operating within an inspired model of care based on a proven approach to trauma-healing treatment for club members K-12.

Under the supervision of a qualified Terros Health professional; the student-intern will perform tasks related to their specific area of study and the Intern learning Contract.

In a highly professional healthcare setting provided by Terros Health; the student will be given an opportunity to apply and continue to learn by practical application the principals theory and knowledge from their related course work.

• Upon completion of the program the student will have learned how to make a meaningful and impactful relationships with youth and be better suited to serve our community as a skilled Clinician.
• Clinical intern will learn patient assessment skills and treatment interventions case coordination and team collaboration.
• Intern will be able to demonstrate clinical skills to successfully move forward with academic and professional goals.

• Applicants will possess the following attributes:Good time management ability to multi-task eager to learn familiar with technology is a plus
• Applicant must be currently enrolled in a supervised field instruction class.
• Graduate leve Counseling program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills are highly desired.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Completion of the pre-student/Intern/Practicum onboarding process as determined solely at the discretion of Terros Health which may include a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen
• Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role
