Position: Director of Nursing (DON) Contract
Location: Sistersville Center Sistersville WV 26175
Client: Genesis East Region
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (30-minute meal break)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $65.00 $72.25 per hour

Job Summary:
The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees clinical operations nursing staff and resident care services within a long-term care environment. This role ensures high-quality patient care regulatory compliance and strong clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead supervise and support nursing staff and clinical operations
Ensure high-quality resident care aligned with regulatory standards
Oversee care planning assessments and documentation compliance
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes
Conduct audits quality assurance reviews and implement corrective plans
Maintain survey readiness and regulatory compliance
Mentor and evaluate nursing staff performance
Manage staffing scheduling and daily workflow

Requirements:
Active West Virginia RN license (unrestricted)
2 3 years of DON or nursing leadership experience in LTC/SNF
Strong knowledge of state regulations and survey processes
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage a fast-paced clinical environment
