Summary:

Provide technical support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with customers and suppliers to develop and document complex electrical and electronic system requirements.
Prepare and maintain design manufacturing process and specification documentation for electrical commodities.
Review supplier technical data to ensure system integration regulatory compliance and requirement traceability.
Provide troubleshooting and technical support to airlines and modification facilities.
Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team using agile methodologies and modern development tools.
Perform testing and validation activities to confirm system designs meet functional and operational requirements.
Apply knowledge of verification validation certification and qualification standards including DO-160 DO-178 DO-254 and D6 requirements and evaluate test or analysis data for compliance evidence.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical Aeronautical) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting Equipment Manager responsibilities for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
Familiarity with FAA and EASA certification and regulatory requirements.
Strong systems thinking ability to understand component interactions and downstream impacts of design changes.
Strong analytical skills including data collection synthesis interpretation and development of technical conclusions and recommendations.
Ability to read interpret and work from engineering drawings blueprints schematics and specifications.
Experience with CAD/CAM tools such as CATIA Mentor Graphics or Unigraphics.
Sound engineering judgment in decision-making to maintain product design integrity.
Knowledge of certification and qualification processes including DO-160 and related compliance standards.
