Position Overview:
WORK Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Refrigerant Licensed Technician to provide hands-on expertise in building mechanical systems including boilers HVAC refrigeration electrical and plumbing. This role is based at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum a nationally recognized and highly visible public institution. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge organizational skills and customer service abilities to ensure the smooth operation of facility systems in a complex public-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate maintain and repair building mechanical systems (HVAC boilers refrigeration electrical plumbing).
- Respond to emergency and contract-related situations while on call.
- Collaborate effectively with a wide variety of individuals including those with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly in both written and oral formats.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and federal security clearance requirements.
Qualifications
- HVAC Refrigerant License (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC licensed technician.
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities of similar size scope and complexity.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Excellent written oral and computer literacy skills.
- Valid drivers license with a strong safety record.
- Ability to pass a security clearance administered through the National Archives and Records Administration.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour.
