Description
This full-time on-site position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment where you will play a crucial role in patient care and cardiovascular health.
As a Cath Lab Technician you will be responsible for assisting physicians during catheterization procedures ensuring patient safety and maintaining the sterile field. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care while contributing to the advancement of medical practices within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory environment
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment and instruments
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
- Assist with patient education regarding procedures and post-care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality assurance and safety programs
Requirements
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Hospital experience in Acute or Rehab setting
