Description
This full-time on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment contributing to high-quality patient care and advanced medical procedures.
As a Cath Lab Technician you will play a vital role in assisting with invasive procedures and ensuring the efficient operation of the cath lab. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. .
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterization and other special procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures
- Monitor patient conditions before during and after procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain equipment and ensure its proper functioning
Requirements
- ARRT-CV or RCIS
- MRT or RCIS
- Certified Basic Life Support
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or invasive cardiovascular technology required
