Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of mental health and medical services for the Georgia Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at Washington State Prison in Davisboro GA. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who value structure teamwork and consistent schedules in a secure clinical environment.
Position Details
Status: Full-time
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month
12-hour shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
On-Call: Occasional on-call coverage required
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $41.00 $46.00 per hour based on experience
Weekend Shift Differential: Additional $1.00 per hour

Qualifications
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient-centered nursing care to incarcerated individuals within the appropriate scope of practice. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor the RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess plan and deliver care addressing patients medical mental health and psychosocial needs while adhering to infection control standards and facility protocols.
This role offers a predictable schedule strong clinical support and a defined scope of practice in a correctional healthcare setting.
Minimum Requirements
Associates degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one
Current CPR certification
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance including drug screening and criminal background check
