About the Job:
Shriners Childrens Northern California is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Pediatric Med/Surg unit. In this role you will provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe effective and family-centered care in a supportive pediatric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric medical and surgical patients
Monitor patient conditions vital signs and overall recovery progress
Administer medications IV therapies and treatments as prescribed
Assist with post-operative care and patient education
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $58.80/hr
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Estimated Pay: $705.60 per shift

Experience Needed: PRN (As-needed basis flexible shifts)

Active RN license in California
BLS & ACLS certifications

Professional References (at least two)
COVID Vaccination Card
