About the Job:

Shriners Childrens Boston is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its PACU (Peds) this role you will provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients recovering from surgery. You will be responsible for monitoring vital signs managing pain and ensuring patient comfort as they wake up from anesthesia. This is a critical role in the surgical process helping to ensure that young patients recover safely and comfortably. Key Responsibilities:

Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in recovery.
Monitor vital signs oxygen levels and pain levels during the recovery process.
Administer medications and manage patient pain relief as needed.
Ensure a safe and comfortable recovery environment for pediatric patients.
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure effective recovery care.
Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery expectations.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $60 - $62.72/hr
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Estimated Pay: $60 - $62.72/hr * 12 hours $720 - $752.64 per shift

Experience Needed: PRN (As-needed basis flexible shifts)

Documents Required:

Active RN license in Massachusetts
PALSBLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification
Resume detailing PACU and pediatric experience
Professional References (at least two)
COVID Vaccination Card
