Job Summary

Corporate Parts Advisor Sidney OH
Kirk NationaLease is seeking a Corporate Parts Advisor to support our shop locations by providing expert parts knowledge sourcing support and inventory guidance across the company.
This role is ideal for someone who understands truck and trailer parts.
As a Corporate Parts Advisor you will serve as a centralized support resource for parts-related needs across all Kirk NationaLease locations. You will work closely with shop managers technicians vendors and corporate leadership to ensure accurate parts sourcing cost control and minimal downtime.
What Youll Do
  • Serve as a corporate-level resource for parts questions and support across all shop locations.
  • Assist with identifying researching and sourcing truck trailer and equipment parts.
  • Cross-reference part numbers research supersessions and recommend alternative solutions when needed.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors to ensure competitive pricing availability and timely delivery.
  • Support emergency and hard-to-find parts requests to reduce vehicle downtime.
  • Promote standardization of parts vendors and processes company-wide.
  • Assist locations with inventory strategies including stocking levels turns and obsolescence.
  • Review parts usage trends and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and cost control.
  • Support onboarding and training of shop-level parts personnel as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies warranty requirements and documentation standards.
  • Maintain clear communication and accurate records related to parts orders and vendor performance.

What Were Looking For:
  • 3 years of experience with parts management
  • Strong knowledge of diesel truck and trailer components and systems
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and supplier networks
  • Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams manuals and electronic parts catalogs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with inventory or parts management systems and basic computer applications
