About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Bookkeeper to manage the accounting operations for a small manufacturing companybased in Winnipeg. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is confident handling full-cycle bookkeeping enjoys working independently and takes pride in accuracy and organization.

You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity supporting leadership with reliable reporting and ensuring day-to-day accounting functions run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable including vendor payments invoicing and collections

• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis

• Prepare and maintain general ledgers journal entries and adjusting entries

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time

• Manage government remittances including payroll source deductions and related compliance

• Support year-end processes working closely with external accountants

• Assist with budget preparation cash flow monitoring and variance analysis

• Prepare and deliver financial reports and summaries for management review

• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation across all entities

Qualifications & Experience

• 35 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience ideally supporting multiple companies

• Strong expertise in Simply Accounting and QuickBooksOnline (required)

• Solid experience with payroll processing and related regulations

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

• Ability to work independently prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
