About the role

  • Manage the MOSAIQ Oncology Information System for cancer services including operational oversight and support and lead the transition from MOSAIQ to EPIC and BEACON to enable a seamless move to a Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR).

  • Drive change management processes for SDPR implementation in consultation with key stakeholders the Cancer Clinical Governance Committee and in collaboration with Clinical Information Systems Innovation and Improvement teams.

  • Create modify and repair MOSAIQ IQ scripts and run data extracts to generate reports for the NSW Cancer Registry Ministry of Health and other internal and external entities.

  • Provide education training and ongoing support to new and existing staff including internal departments satellite and remote sites and external partners such as Griffith Hospital and third-party entities.

  • Lead system testing and quality assurance activities including the development of test plans reports and data extracts and engage with stakeholders on technical requirements for system support and development.

  • Manage and support the Cancer Information Systems Coordinator and Cancer Services Data Managers and collaborate with eHealth NSW and the Cancer Institute NSW to contribute to an Oncology Information Systems strategy for NSW.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Management or a health sciencerelated discipline.

  • Proven understanding and experience with MOSAIQ and other health systems including EPIC and BEACON within Cancer Services.

  • High-level IT and computer skills with competency in managing health data systems integrations data quality analytics and tools such as Power BI.

  • Ability to effectively manage complex health information and technology systems including configuring systems troubleshooting issues writing or modifying IQ scripts and supporting complex digital workflows.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders explain technical concepts and support the cancer stream transition from MOSAIQ to SDPR.

  • Strong interpersonal leadership and conflict resolution skills with experience managing and guiding teams.
