About the RoleThe Product Manager is responsible for driving product strategy execution and performance across assigned product categories. Youll manage products throughout the full lifecycle while identifying growth opportunities improving margins and translating market insights into winning product and marketing strategies across Consumer and Foodservice Youll DoOwn top- and bottom-line performance for assigned product categoriesManage the full product lifecycle including item setup pricing forecasting and portfolio optimizationIdentify and execute new product development and product improvement opportunitiesPartner with R&D and Product Development to commercialize new features and define product specificationsMonitor market trends competitive activity and customer insights to identify growth opportunitiesLead cross-functional teams on product launches improvements and margin enhancement initiativesDevelop and execute go-to-market plans including positioning sales training and marketing collateralCollaborate with Sales Channel Procurement Legal and Compliance teams to ensure successful execution and regulatory adherenceWhat Were Looking ForBachelors degree in Marketing Product Development or a related field35 years of experience in Product Management or MarketingStrong financial acumen with experience in pricing and cost analysisExperience leading cross-functional teams and managing timelinesCustomer- and market-focused mindsetStrong communication organization and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)New product launch or Stage-Gate experience is a plusOrganizational ValuesSafety Teamwork Customer Focus Ownership Initiative CreativityAt Hoffmaster our values guide how we work every day.
