The Role
Were looking for someone who can help keep our financial operations running smoothly and accurately in line with our organisational standards. Reporting to the Data Insights & Finance Manager you will play a critical role in the end-to-end delivery of our financial processes. Most importantly youll bring a customer-centric mindset providing friendly clear and reliable support to team members volunteers suppliers and stakeholders.
In a nutshell the Finance Officer/Bookkeeper will:
Keep our financial engine running
Youll own the end-to-end bookkeeping including processing of;
- Accounts Payable
- Corporate Cards
- Bank Reconciliations
- Payroll
- Assist in End of Month Reconciliation
About You

To be successful youll ideally have:
- Experience in a finance support accounts or payroll role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred).
- Understanding of basic accounting and payroll principles.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent accuracy.
- Excellent time management and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Comfortable with change learning and improving processes.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Certificate Diploma or Degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field (preferred but not essential).
