Quality Inspector Manufacturing
Location: Reading Berkshire
Salary:per annum
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Reading who are looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector to their growing quality team.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out inspection of incoming in-process and finished components
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Use a range of measuring equipment (e.g. verniers micrometers gauges CMM advantageous)
Identify non-conformances and raise quality reports
Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis
Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
Experience using manual inspection tools (CMM experience is a plus)
Knowledge of ISO quality standards preferred
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
