Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Supervisor to support nursing leadership and clinical operations across our clinics. Under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor this role provides clinical oversight staff support and direct patient care while helping ensure high-quality patient-centered services. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to grow into a leadership role within a mission-driven community health organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nurse Supervisor with daily oversight of nursing staff and clinic operations
- Provide direct patient care as needed in accordance with clinical policies and procedures
- Assist with care coordination and transitional care planning across primary care specialty services hospitals and community resources
- Support onboarding training competency validation and professional development of nursing and clinical staff
- Participate in staffing coordination scheduling and performance support
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives peer review activities and regulatory compliance
- Serve as a clinical resource and patient advocate
- Collaborate with Providers and interdisciplinary teams to support care plans and patient outcomes
- Travel between clinic locations as needed
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Kansas LPN or RN license
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment
- Current healthcare-required immunizations in accordance with organizational policy
- Ability to meet all Conditions of Employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in primary care ambulatory care or care management
- Two (2) or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) super-user experience
- Experience with public and private vaccine management
