Job Description:

An Auto Mechanics job involvesdiagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles by inspecting mechanical and electronic systems performing routine services (like oil changes tire rotations) using diagnostic tools for complex issues replacing worn parts (brakes belts) and documenting all work ensuring vehicles remain safe and functional for customers. They must stay updated on new automotive technology and communicate issues clearly to clients often working with engines transmissions electronics and sometimes specializing in electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnostics:Use computerized equipment to pinpoint issues with engines transmissions electronics and other components.
Maintenance:Conduct routine services like oil changes fluid checks and tire rotations.
Repairs:Replace worn parts (brakes sensors belts) and fix mechanical/electrical problems.
System Updates:Repair or update vehicle computer and electronic systems.
Record Keeping:Maintain detailed records of services parts used and vehicle conditions.
