This position is working on site in HeadSpins Bangalore Data Centre reporting to Senior Manager Global Operations. Responsible for overseeing the operational and logistical tasks of HeadSpin internal teams.
What youll do
- Manage smartHands requests on a local level. Troubleshooting daily issues within Headspin Tier 0.
- Bridge communication of off shore and other team members world wide(Asia/ North America)
- Oversee and structure internal requests at an operational level.
- Upkeep on problematic internal device issues.
- Work with Manufacturing to deploy hardware equipment.
- Responsible for local SIMcard management
- Device replacement/ Device deployment in selected global locations.
- Manage Import/Export shipments from global vendors.
- Manage ISP team coordination.
- Work with InfraOperations for Server/ Router Configurations
- Upkeep of Headspin Bangalour DC.
- Ensure follow up on active tickets/ deployments on a daily level with multiple different team members.
- Work with equipment hardware for replacement and upkeep.
Necessarily skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with expert technical representatives as well as management.
- Strong Network knowledge in Tunnelling and VLAN configuration & troubleshooting
- NAT configuration
- Leadership abilities at both the strategic and tactical level.
- Good understanding of the methodologies used by HeadSpin their customers and equipment.
- Extensive experience with Headspins Infrastructure and goals for improvements.
- Able to address internal and customer issues tickets in a timely manner.
- Flexibility for customer site visits local and international.
Required Experience
- 2 years Operations experience.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and how it relates to day to day operations.
- Knowledge of distributed systems upgrade processes (on-prem cloud).
- Knowledge project management time management and work delegation.
Required Education
- BE/BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
Bonus:
- Has experience working with Headspins internal infrastructure and team members already.
- CCNA Certificate is a bonus.
