This internship program with Manulife Private Wealth offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Private Wealth industry. It is ideal for motivated undergraduate students looking to contribute to business growth initiatives and enhance the client and advisor experience. As an intern you will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams engage in business initiatives and projects as well as contribute to delivering innovative wealth management solutions. This role is designed to provide practical experience and help you develop essential skills for a successful career in the wealth management industry.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support growth initiatives and key priorities for Manulifes high-net-worth Private Wealth business.

  • Assist with projects focused on growing our client base and enhancing our service offering.

  • Contribute to the implementation and delivery of innovative wealth management solutions that will improve the client and advisor experience.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing Compliance Legal and Product to support the execution of business initiatives.

  • Collect analyze and interpret data to generate insights that support decision-making.

  • Prepare presentations and reports that summarize findings and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Research and synthesize Wealth Management and Private Investment Counsel (PIC) industry trends and competitive insights to help inform business decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business Finance or other related fields.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel

  • Solid understanding of the wealth management industry in Canada

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Well-developed quantitative analysis skills.

  • Highly proactive self-motivated and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

  • Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate willbe requiredto communicate in English and Frenchin order tosupport clients from variousjurisdictionsoutside of Quebec.
