Vacancy For Sourcing and Supplier Development Manager

Develop the E&S Sourcing and Procurement organisation in Pune. Responsible for the strategic development of the external supply chain in close coordination with Global Sourcing within Business Unit Food System. Develop Global sustainable Supply Chain for subcontracted items.

Manage and secure that procurement is done at a competitive level for the global and local Customer Projects with annual spend of 60-70 MEURO and in close cooperation with the E&S workshop by achieving agreed KPIs on DOT quality & Procurement savings.

Support implementation and use of global and local processes tools and policies within Procurement in cooperation with Global Supply.

The position / About the Job:

In this job the Group Leader would be responsible for:

Key Tasks and responsibilities:

• Drive effective sourcing and purchasing for E&S Procurement Pune
• Support E&S global procurement requirements with sourcing and purchasing from India
• Ensure compliance to Alfa Laval Business Principles in E&S procurement practice as well as in our supply chain.
• Understand current and future business requirements and maintain and develop the procurement function and supplier portfolio to meet requirements.
• Understand total cost as well as procurement value creation opportunities and proactively drive activities to improve our business accordingly.
• Secure a competitive cost base through the right mix of pre-qualified suppliers frame agreements and consolidation of suppliers leveraging the global footprint of the supply function in BU FOS
• Seek procurement involvement and secure participation in the customer projects from bid phase
• Report KPIs supporting: On time On spec On budget
• Monitor supplier performance & handle reported supplier non-conformances.
• Run PI projects to drive savings
• Take part in development of global processes and tools and deploy and implement global processes and tools used in E&S procurement.
• Negotiate & finalise with transporters & forwarders for Project orders.
• Manage Warehouse procurement of indirect purchase like packing material.
• Monthly Invoicing Plan of E&S for FOS & Energy

Leadership Skills

• As a Manager stimulate people motivate and inspire them through emotional involvement.
• Staff department and build competences in accordance with business requirements.
• Facilitate the employee training and technical competence development programs.
• Ability to implement standards & work processes.
• Employee management motivation of employees and practical employee administration (vacation plans sickness travel booking travel rules and payments).
• Resource management including distributing project work (RFQ IPR) and other tasks to employees and follow up direct line reporting.
• Resource forecasting based on business forecast available/ required competence & projects in hand request new employees (PAF) recruit and conduct performance development dialogues.

What you can be

Qualifications / Certifications: -

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a Minimum of 20 years of experience in relevant project procurement

Knowledge Technical Skills and Nature of Experience

Knowledge :

• Strong negotiating skills financial and legal insight updated knowledge on Imports EPCG
• Knowledge of contracts taxation & legal rules and regulations.

Skills :

MS Office ERP system.
