Job Summary

Main Duties:

Act as the primary HR strategic partner for operational teams providing expert guidance on policies procedures and best practices.
Supervise and mentor HR Officers across various depots ensuring consistency in HR standards and handling of operational tasks.
Partner with the Training Manager to manage disciplinary actions grievance investigations and complex employee relations cases.
Proactively identify potential HR challenges and collaborate with management to implement effective solutions.
Champion strategic HR initiatives including employee engagement programs wellbeing schemes and organizational transformation projects.
Manage performance and workforce planning including the maintenance of organizational charts job descriptions and the performance appraisal cycle.
Monitor compliance with statutory regulations collective agreements and HR policies across all operational sites.
Oversee the accuracy of HRIS data and prepare reports on employee relations and compliance metrics for management.

What skills do you need:

Tertiary level of education with a degree in Human Resources Communications or a related field.
Proven experience in HR operations with a strong focus on employee relations and advisory.
Previous supervisory or team management experience is considered a strong asset.
Comprehensive knowledge of Maltese Employment Law and industrial relations.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coach and develop remote HR teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interview and negotiate effectively.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management.

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
