Working closely with property owners and guests we manage premium assets with a strong emphasis on service excellence operational efficiency and attention to detail. Our team is based in Viana do Castelo driven to raise the standard of luxury short-term rentals.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on and highly organised Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleaning and maintenance operations across our property portfolio.
This role is central to ensuring properties meet luxury standards at every stay while optimising resources processes and supplier relationships.
What Youll Do
Manage and coordinate housekeeping maintenance and laundry teams including scheduling management control and mentoring.
Ensure properties are consistently prepared to high-quality standards before guest arrivals.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance ensuring fast resolution of technical issues.
Control and optimise stock levels (linen amenities cleaning products equipment).
Define implement and continuously improve housekeeping and maintenance procedures.
Conduct regular quality inspections and audits across the property portfolio.
Manage and negotiate with external suppliers and service providers (cleaning laundry maintenance consumables) for efficiency and cost optimisation.
Collaborate closely with Customer Support and COO to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards.
Who You Are
3 years of experience in housekeeping maintenance facilities management or hospitality operations ideally in a luxury or short-term rental environment.
Strong organisational and people-management skills with a hands-on mindset.
Detail-oriented proactive and capable of managing multiple properties and priorities.
Comfortable working with operational systems checklists and performance metrics.
Confident negotiating with suppliers and service providers.
Clear communicator and team player focused on continuous improvement.
Available to work on weekends and holidays if necessary (mandatory)
Valid drivers licence and own vehicle; flexibility to move between properties.
