Responsibilities:
- The primary duty of a part-time driver is to transport passengers and vehicles from one location to another safely and efficiently. This will include driving various distances throughout California to pick up/drop off vehicles at vehicle auctions and/or customers residences.
- Drivers are responsible for ensuring the vehicles are in good working condition. Upon pick up/delivery of the vehicles drivers will inspect the vehicles for interior/exterior damages and report to the Sales Manager.
- Part-time drivers must navigate efficiently to reach their destinations on time. This involves using GPS and other navigation tools to find the best routes and avoid traffic.
- Providing excellent service is crucial. Drivers should interact professionally with customers and other dealers ensuring a pleasant experience. This includes being punctual courteous and responsive to customer needs.
- Maintaining accurate records is essential. Drivers may need to keep track of mileage fuel consumption and delivery logs ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations is a critical responsibility. Drivers must drive defensively and be prepared to handle emergencies on the road.
