About the Role and Opportunity -

Are you ready to take the wheel in planning and coordinating freight movements across our dynamic network. Here at Toll Group we are looking for a Freight Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

This position is key to ensuring products are delivered safely cost-effectively and on time. Youll work closely with operations teams carriers and customers to maintain service levels and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to -

  • Plan and schedule inbound and outbound freight movements to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Liaise with customers carriers and third-party providersresolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.

  • Negotiate with carriers and subcontractors managing performance and compliance.

  • Track shipments in real time providing proactive updates and solutions for delays.

  • Use TMS/WMS systems to maintain accurate records and optimise workload efficiency.

  • Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to align transport plans with business needs.

What were looking for

  • Previous experience in freight planning transport coordination or logistics operations.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detailable to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Proficiency in logistics systems (TMS/WMS) and MS Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
