About the role
The Vehicle Service Coordinator plays an important part in our set up. Ideal for someone who is a natural problem solver and collaborator. Based out of our Haymarket Sydney office this role will involve working with multiple stakeholders both across the business and with our suppliers. This role demands a keen eye and great attention to detail as you will be approving costs in line with a budget identifying issues and providing solutions in all areas.
This role is ideal for someone looking to get into a more corporate setting and out of the workshop or someone with a keen interest in cars looking for a new challenge.
Responsibilities
- Taking phone calls and emails from suppliers negotiating work to be done and approving costs for service repairs nationally in line with approved maintenance budgets.
- Generating reports and working with relevant teams to ensure vehicles are serviced on time and maintained in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.
- Monitor maintain and actively reduce the Vehicle On Road (VOR) list ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Coordinate with workshops and internal teams to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes
- Responsible for the creating of work orders and purchase orders to be raised.
- Working with fleet management team to identify trends/patterns to improve efficiencies and processes.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded and compliant.
- Support the National Maintenance Manager with reporting tracking and maintenance administration tasks.
What youll bring
- Previous Experience in Fleet maintenance automotive operations or a similar coordination role. (Preferred)
- Strong administrative and organisational skillswith attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in remarketing (advantageous)
- Confident in using Microsoft emails Excel and Word
