Description -

We are looking for anEvents and Channel Marketing Specialistto lead execute and optimize Canadas commercial events this role you will build a scalable insight-driven events program that strengthens HPs position in the commercial market accelerates revenue opportunities and deepens engagement with customers channel partners and alliance partners. You will also be responsible for driving partner engagement enablement and demand through strategic marketing programs and content. This role works closely with HP Canada channel partners and cross-functional internal teams to ensure partners are equipped with the right content tools and programs to grow HP business

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute HPs nationalcommercial events strategy across all customer segments including customer events in partnership with alliance partners webinars virtual events Industry events roadshows and targeted ABM-driven experiences.

  • Build annual and quarterly event calendars aligned toCommercial PC Print Services and Solutionspriorities.

  • Lead execution of high-impact in-person and virtual events that elevate HPs commercial brand and drive demand generation.

  • Manage alliance partner approvals funding utilization and ensure joint KPIs are met.

  • Build and manage strong relationships with channel partners and internal cross-functional teams including Channel Category and Global Marketing.

  • Plan and execute channel marketing enablement programs that drive awareness adoption and revenue.

  • Develop and deliver partner-ready content (toolkits campaign playbooks communications) to enable partner sales.

  • Provide partner training and enablement to ensure partners understand how to use HP marketing tools platforms and resources effectively.

  • Support and manage partner marketing requests providing HP brand guidance and assets to help execute their marketing initiatives.

ABM Measurement & Insights for Events

  • Establish clear success metrics for every event and partner activity includingpipeline influence account engagement uplift content consumption and conversion metrics.

  • Work with marketing operations to create post-event ABM reportsconnecting event attendance to account engagement and marketing generated opportunities (MGO).

  • Track ROI and provide insight-driven recommendations to improve future event selection and design.

Operations Budget Management & Governance

  • Manage event budgets partner funding procurement processes and vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effective delivery.

  • Oversee event intake evaluation approval processes and contract management.

  • Maintain unified event dashboards processes playbooks templates and post-event reporting cadences.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (category sales channel marketing operations) and external agencies.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in event management marketing communications or related field will be a plus.

  • 5 years of experience B2B events preferably in technology enterprise or channel-driven environments.

  • Strong understanding ofpartner ecosystems alliance marketing and co-marketing frameworks.

  • Experience with ABM tools event analytics and connecting event data to pipeline insights.

  • Strong vendor management skills including contract negotiation and procurement alignment.

  • Deep knowledge of in-person and virtual event platforms production workflows and event technologies.

  • Exceptional project management communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to travel regularly to national events partner sites and customer engagements

Compensation and Benefits

The typical base pay range for this role is $90000 to $100000 per year. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience skills and internal equity.

As a full time employee of HP Canada you will be eligible to participate in the companys group benefit programs including medical dental life insurance and disability coverage subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. During your employment term you will receive 15 paid vacation days per year prorated based on your start date. Detailed information regarding benefitswill be provided upon hire and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
