Position Overview
As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase processlistening to their needs offering expert product knowledge and delivering exceptional service from first contact to post-sale follow-up. This is more than just a sales positionthis is an opportunity to be a trusted advisor community ambassador and brand representative.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
Identify customer needs through active listening and product knowledge
Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles effectively
Guide customers through the entire vehicle purchase experience
Follow up with leads and past customers using CRM tools (e.g. VinSolutions)
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all vehicle models trims and technology
Collaborate with team members to meet department sales goals
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies
Attend weekly sales meetings trainings and community events as needed
Qualifications
Prior automotive or customer-facing sales experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic with a focus on integrity and teamwork
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership software and tools
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Professional appearance and demeanor
