Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to serve as Public Relations and Communications Manager who will be a vital link between their organisation and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops in conjunction with the Director Principals and the team the online annual school calendar showing all events and dates;
-
Receives the weekly updates and information from the organisation teams and prepares the electronic weekly events newsletter for discussion with Principals and approval by the Executive Director;
-
Licences updates and maintains communication platforms weekly to inform the Community regarding the cycle of events;
-
Drafts the adverts for approval by the Director and for placing in local schools;
-
Prepares and distributes the information packs collects the responses and submits these to the Panel; Communications Handbook developed and maintained
-
Brand Manual Maintenance and management of all branding questions.

Developing a Marketing Plan and a provisional budget to justify and support the activities to be undertaken to promote the organisation;
-
Submitting the Marketing Plan and budget to the Executive Director for discussion editing and final approval;
-
Researches the marketing approach and methodology to ensure the positive visibility of the organisation within the Country;
-
Website development and maintenance in collaboration with the ICT Director;
-
Consults with a website developer to install and manage the software;
-
Researches the required material and information from the org team and the Community;
-
Annual Directors Report template design and distribution of finalised report;
-
Digital design resources including the development and maintenance of the Brand Manual
-
Follow up and prepare the content including photos documents policies contractual forms and similar;
-
Loads and populates the website and obtains approval from the Executive Director for the website to go live
-
Reviewing the website for software updates and licences weekly
-
Ensuring that the required publication permission is obtained from Parents before publishing photos and/or images of students
-
Interfaces with the org team to establish the overall purpose for the use of specific social media tools;
-
Develops an annual PR Campaign initiates the plans in consultation with the Director and other constituents as needed.

Develops the annual budget for the Public Relations Office

Develops Campaigns to increase alumni participation

Ability to communicate clearly and accurately verbally and in written form

Interpersonal skills

Ability to analyse and solve work-related problems and reach a logical conclusion

Proficient in graphics software and communication tools

Computer literate
Key Qualifications:

Public Relations/Marketing Diploma/Degree or similar
-
At least 5 years experience in Communications publication computer and similar experience
-
At least 2 Years of experience in a similar role in an NGO or similar environment
