Job Summary

Responsibilities:

1. New Product Development(NPD):

Experience product development life cycle from ideation formulation prototyping and pilot trials to finalcommercialization.

Develop seasonings spice blends and ingredient formulations tailored to customer and market requirements.

Work closely with marketing teams to ensure product alignment with consumer preferences and brand positioning.

2. Product Innovation & Formulation:

Create and refine new recipes flavors and formulations for innovative food products

Experiment with different ingredient combinations processing techniques and flavor enhancements to improve taste texture and shelf stability.

Stay updated with global food trends competitive bench marking and emerging ingredients to drive productdifferentiation.

3. Sensory & Quality Evaluation:

Perform sensory trials consumer testing and shelf-life studies to validate product acceptability and consistency.

Ensure all products meet internal and regulatory quality standards for taste texture color and safety.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with procurement supply chain marketing regulatory and quality assurance teams to ensure product feasibility and compliance.

Partner with vendors and ingredient suppliers to identify and source high-quality raw materials.

Coordinate with flavor houses packaging teams and external R&D partners to enhance product development.

5. Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all new formulations adhere to global food safety standards and local regulatory requirements.

Conduct risk assessments raw material evaluations and allergen control checks to maintain product safety.

Cooperate with regulatory bodies and certification agencies to meet compliance standards.

6. Vendor & Supplier Management:

Identify evaluate and coordinate with ingredient suppliers flavor houses and equipment manufacturers for raw material sourcing.

Negotiate pricing and ensure consistent quality and supply chain reliability for key ingredients.

Develop and test alternative raw materials to improve cost efficiency and mitigate supply risks.

7. Market Research & Consumer Insights:

Conduct market analysis competitor bench marking and consumer research to identify product gaps and opportunities.

Integrate insights from focus groups sensory evaluations and industry reports to refine product development strategies.

Develop products that cater to regional preferences dietary trends and emerging food categories.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

3 years in food product R&D seasoning / spice development ingredient formulation.

Experience working with global brands or food processing companies.

Technical Skills:

Product Formulation: Strong expertise in seasonings spice blends and extrusion products.

Food Safety & Quality: Knowledge of HACCP GMP BRC and global food safety standards

Sensory & Analytical Testing: Ability to conduct sensory trials quality checks and formulation adjustments.

Process Optimization: Hands-on experience in scale-up commercialization and ingredient cost reduction.
