We are seeking an enthusiastic committed and highly motivated Teacher of the Deaf to join our Hearing Support Team. You will provide specialist assessment teaching and support for children and young people (CYP) with hearing impairment from birth to 25 years working in partnership with families schools and other professionals to raise achievement and promote inclusion.
This position will involve working in family homes nurseries mainstream schools special schools and FE colleges and travelling across the city of Birmingham.
Candidates for this post must hold qualified teacher status.
We will consider applications from Qualified Teachers of the Deaf who hold the mandatory qualification as well as from those who are currently undertaking the mandatory qualification or those qualified teachers who have experience teaching deaf CYP who would be willing to undertake the mandatory training. We would welcome applications from those with a key interest in audiology.
