Purpose
The Application Specialist (M365 Purview) will act as an SME and will help to support the design development and further deployment of Microsoft Purview in M365 (Including Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention).
They will work closely with Security the End User Computing team as well as colleagues around Ofgem to align technical solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Outputs and Deliverables
- Designing / deploying Microsoft Purview solutions (including Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention) across M365 to meet organisational governance and compliance objectives.
- Assessing environments and requirements to deliver tailored Microsoft Purview configurations policies and controls.
- Supporting and designing deployments of Purview features including troubleshooting and escalations.
- Advising on and implementing best practices.
- Working with C-level stakeholders compliance and information governance teams to align technical solutions with business policies and regulatory requirements.
- Integrating Microsoft Purview with wider Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online SharePoint Teams OneDrive).
- Creating and maintaining technical project documentations such as technical configuration documents LLDs etc.
- Address any training needs and gather feedback.
