Pastoral Support Worker to strengthen attendance behaviour and safeguarding provision
Full-time position ASAP start
Our client is seeking a committed and compassionate Pastoral Support Worker to join a thriving secondary school in Bolton with an ASAP start. This is a key role within the pastoral team supporting pupils to ensure their attendance behaviour and safeguarding needs are consistently met.
The successful candidate will work closely with Heads of Year safeguarding leads and senior leaders to monitor attendance patterns follow up on concerns implement behaviour strategies and support vulnerable students. You will liaise with parents and external agencies where appropriate ensuring clear communication and effective intervention.
This role would suit someone calm resilient and highly organised with the ability to build strong relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries and high expectations.

Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in a pastoral safeguarding or behaviour support role (school experience desirable)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
