INTRODUCTION:
PPG Refinish Collision Coatings is looking for a high-performing TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER The ideal candidate will have existing experience in the Refinish Collision Industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively contribute to the business to help reach organizational goals.
Execute segment strategy in collaboration with segment managers.
Focused on share of wallet gain and digital adoption
Relationship and account Manager for existing customers
Provides first line technical support- Top Technical Ambassador of the brand
Manages the business for the region against a sales target and ensures delivery against essential business cases
Proposes and deploys business solution (workshop audit ratio analysis and implements tailored training plans
Organizes and plans demonstrations for all Distributors and MBRs
Keep existing clients up to date with latest sales tools and commercial proposals
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
Excellent interpersonal customer service and communication skills.
Conducts competitive intelligence at all Distributor and MBRs and reports finding to the necessary stakeholders
Participates where necessary in all business reviews with the NBM and National Sales Manager
High level of understanding of the Refinish Collision Industry
REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical support and customer service environment
A proven track record of delivering growth results and meeting financial objectives.
Qualified spray painter certification
Professional and positive approach self-motivated team player dynamic creative and ability to work on own initiative. Ability to resolve customer conflict
Thorough and follow through approach
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas to summarize complex issues.
Strong professionalism and work ethic exhibiting a clear compliance culture.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Good level of Microsoft and general computer use.
Sales negotiation skills and upselling of product lines essential
Technically sound in all aspects of MBR and distributor supply chain- Vehicle inspections able to work the necessary implements and tools provided to achieve OEM Audit Requirements
To meet necessary KPI in terms of computer skills and strategy costing methods in Collision based programmes @ distributor and end user level
JOB DIMENSION:
Externally dealing with high level managers at various stakeholders in the Collision Coatings market.
Based in KZN
Travelling locally and internationally as required
