About the role
As a Lead International Sales (US Markets) you will be responsible for shaping and executing the international sales strategy for the US markets. You will play a key role in market development team leadership and client engagement ensuring the alignment of internal teams and external partners for successful execution.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic leadership and market development
- Design and implement the international sales strategy for the US and UK markets aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Identify growth opportunities and develop tailored go-to-market (GTM) plans based on customer behaviour and market dynamics
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define market-entry and expansion strategies
- Set ambitious team targets and develop a roadmap to surpass them
- Team leadership and performance management
- Lead manage and expand the international sales team with clear roles responsibilities and performance metrics
- Provide regular coaching feedback and development plans to strengthen team capability
- Create a high-performance culture driven by ownership accountability and collaboration
- Inspire and align the team around strategic goals and customer-centric values
- Partner engagement and ecosystem development
- Guide domestic channel partners to generate and convert leads from international markets
- Onboard and mentor new channel partners ensuring strong relationships and enhanced outreach
- Align internal teams with external partners for cohesive execution and consistent performance
- Client engagement and market positioning
- Oversee high-value international client interactions including site visits and the closure process
- Ensure the team effectively communicates product value differentiation and compliance with international standards
- Build long-term client relationships that drive sustained revenue and referrals
- Results ownership and execution excellence
- Own the responsibility of achieving international sales targets and driving profitability from the US and UK markets
- Monitor key performance metrics track lead conversion and refine strategies for continuous improvement
- Use data insights to optimise team and market performance
- Represent the company at international exhibitions roadshows and client forums
Experience:
- 5-10 years in international sales with at least 35 years in a leadership role
Skills:
- Proven success in delivering sales results in developed markets preferably the US
- Strong strategic acumen with the ability to transform market insights into actionable plans
- Inspirational leader with the ability to guide teams through ambiguity and change
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in partner/channel ecosystem development and cross-functional collaboration
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed
