Schedule: Full Time 35 hours/week Monday June 15 - Friday August 14 up to five days working onsite

Department Description
The SFMOMA IT/AV Departments are foundational and strategic teams that support SFMOMA mission by providing:
Strategic Technology Leadership
TechnologyGovernance Policy and Innovation
Risk Management (Cybersecurity Physical Security Disaster Recovery Business Continuity)
Tactical and Operational Technology Implementation and Support Services
Audio Visual Implementation and Support Services (Events In-Gallery Interpretation Platforms Digital Signage Public Engagement)
Software Development and Engineering
The IT/AV Departments support museum colleagues by fostering collaboration communication accountability.

Position Description
As directed by the IT Services Managerthe IT Intern or Externperforms IT projects and assistswithdeliveringquality customer service to SFMOMA employees by providing them with help to resolve technical problems. The ITInternwill be able to provide troubleshooting and problem resolution services to staffregardinga wide variety of hardware and software issues. The ITIntern receives project assignmentsfrom the IT Services Manager anduses documented processes and procedures to execute ITInterns duties willconform to standard collegiate internship requirements and norms bybeingemployed in any area including but not limited to help desk hardware technician networking technician system administration or computer operationbyperformingsupervised work involving computer customer service skills arerequired.

Project Plan
Over the 9-week program the ITIntern will:
Assistwith the organization and modernization ofthe Microsoft Active Directory Enterprise environment
Support the creationand deploymentofPC imagesusing Intune SCCM and Group Policy
Aid in the deployment ofaRMM(Remote Monitoring and Management) platformfor overseeing
serverscomputersand other endpointson site
Assistwith theimprovement of the JAMF platform for Apple device management

Educational Objectives
To learn the fundamentals ofand receivereal worldexperience withanenterpriseIT infrastructure including AD SCCM Intune JAMF RMM and SOCresponse.

Additional Internship Programming
The Summer 2026 Internship will offer 9-weeks of hands-on experience and mentorship along with weekly presentations and discussions with various departments in the museum off-site educational visits within the Bay Area community and access to various tours and events within the museum.

Requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled in school or a recent graduate. The SFMOMA recognizes a graduation date
within 6 months of the internship start date as a recent graduate.
If you are a current employee of the SFMOMA applying for an internship you must be a current student or a
recent graduate within 6 months of the internship start date.
$7000 - $7000 one-time
Pre-tax stipend paid out in a one-lump sum after start date
