DescriptionPosition Summary
The Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager leads the planning and execution of recruitment strategies and oversees the entire recruitment team. This role is responsible for developing recruitment plans based on market trends strengthening employer branding and collaborating with senior leadership to achieve organizational talent acquisition goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual recruitment strategies and plans
- Support and manage hotel recruitment teams
- Identify and optimize hiring needs through collaboration with departments and senior leadership
- Manage recruitment budgets analyze costs and drive efficiency initiatives
- Plan and execute employer branding strategies (e.g. social media career fairs public relations activities)
- Improve recruitment processes and enhance candidate experience
- Build and negotiate relationships with external partners (recruitment agencies educational institutions)
- Analyze recruitment data prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in recruitment
- Proven experience in team management (guiding and evaluating multiple team members)
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in recruitment within the hospitality industry
- Experience in developing recruitment strategies for global organizations
- Proven track record in data-driven recruitment initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems
