Job Summary

Salary: Circa 48000 depending on skills and experience

Monday - Friday no standby

Permanent 37 hours p/w

Flexible base location in the East of the Anglian Water region with travel betweensites atNorwich Kings Lynn Lowestoft CromerThetfordand Attleborough.

About the Role

Are you a technically skilled electrician with a passion for improving environmental performance and asset efficiency Do you enjoy solving asset control problems and working collaboratively across teams If so this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Anglian Water is looking for Flow Asset Engineers to join our Catchment Flow Compliance this roleyoullcarry out on site assessments investigate and resolve asset issues making repairs where as well as develop sustainable solutions and help optimise water recycling infrastructure to improve flow performance and reduce environmental risk.

About the team

We play a crucial role in supporting Water Recycling operational teams by offering technical support and data analysis for Flow compliance monitoring acrossall ofthe flowparameters .We provideexpertiseon flow regulatory requirements to improve our regions sea and river health ensuring operational teams have the necessary information to understand their compliance performance andidentifyemerging risks. By analysing multiple data sources the teamidentifiesanomalies and issues within Operational Telemetry (OT) datafacilitatingtargeted interventions. Additionally we handle regulatory data requests related to flow and storm complianceleveragingour deep understanding of storm handling systems and telemetry to conduct thorough investigations and data verification including solution design build and delivery.

WhatYoullBe Doing

  • Lead assessments of underperforming sites andidentifyroot causes

  • Carry out electrical instrumentation and asset control repairs or modifications

  • Develop and implement asset-focused solutions to improve flow metrics

  • Collaborate with FlowEngineers and site teams to ensure long-term impact

  • Build business cases for asset enhancements

  • Work with Asset Delivery to align improvements with strategic goals

  • Ensure effective handover and integration of solutions into operations

  • Ensure all interventions meet regulatory and internal standards

  • Promote best practices and contribute to lessons learned across Water Recycling

  • Support training and development of operational teams

  • Use telemetry SCADA and performance data to guide interventions

  • Collaborate with data teams tomonitorand report on improvement outcomes

WhatWereLooking For

  • Level 3 Electrical qualification

  • Must have completed electrical apprenticeship

  • Experience of industrial electrical panel and control work

  • Technical knowledge of pumping treatment and telemetry systems (Would beadvantageous)

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (EA OFWAT) (Would beadvantageous)

  • UK Driving Licence
