Technical Sales Support & Customer Training Engineer
Flow Control & Sealing (Dixon Valve)
Location: Monterrey Nuevo León
Industry: Industrial accessories distributor (fluid transport hoses fittings and flow control)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Work Mode: On-site
Travel: National and USA travel required
Visa & Passport: Required
Position Objective
Provide technical and commercial support and deliver specialized training to sales teams distributors and end users ensuring proper application of Dixon Valve solutions strong customer relationships and increased sales effectiveness across the distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales Support
Provide technical product specifications limitations and application recommendations
Support pre-sales and post-sales activities via phone email and field visits
Assist customer service with technical inquiries
Support product demonstrations and technical presentations
Recommend correct product selection based on application requirements
Training & Development
Lead monthly on-site training workshops in Monterrey and Mexico City
Conduct monthly virtual training sessions for distributors
Coordinate training logistics including registration scheduling travel and certificates
Develop presentations manuals and technical training materials
Field and Customer Support
Conduct regional field visits with sales teams
Deliver on-site technical training to distributors and end users
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during customer visits
Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelors Degree in Industrial Mechanical Mechatronics Engineering or related field
Experience: 1 to 2 years in technical support application engineering technical sales support or industrial environments
Technical Skills
Understanding of technical drawings and specifications
Microsoft Office advanced
ERP system knowledge desirable
Knowledge of elastomers hoses fittings couplings and flow control products preferred
Knowledge of thread types NPT BSP JIC ORFS and Metric is a plus
Languages: Advanced English required
Other Requirements: Valid U.S. Visa and Passport and availability to travel
