Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting process/product improvement and new product development to ensure they meet performance quality manufacturing and cost requirements. S/He must be able to work well in a team environment and possess effective communication skills and technical expertise.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 1 years of industry experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.
Knowledge
- Intermediate proficiency in NX required
- Intermediate knowledge of materials and processes
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of sheet metal
- Basic knowledge of product development best practices such as DFM DOE DFMEA and Lean PD.
- Basic knowledge of drafting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing preferred.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as medical equipment a plus.
