Job Summary
- Managing daily validation of energy trades within the ETRM system ensuring all deals are validated within a specified timeframe
- Ensuring all deals follow the agreed deal booking policies whilst monitoring the different deal statuses to maintain accurate records in the ETRM system
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify deal validation findings and address inquiries
- Assist in resolving trade-related discrepancies in coordination with various teams
- Supporting complex business flows LNG storage cross-border capacity
- Deliver daily MO reports including internal data reconciliations
- Active participation in monthly closing processes reconciliation between trading system and accounting
- Work closely with BO FO Finance & Treasury teams
- Collaborate with IT teams to address system-related issues and contribute to system enhancements
- Ad-hoc building of new reports and monitoring tools
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters in Finance Economics Business Mathematics or Engineering.
- 3 years experience in Middle Office Trade Validation or Risk Control within energy trading
- Proficiency in ETRM systems (Endur Allegro OpenLink) Excel (VBA Pivot Tables Macros) and familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus.
- Strong understanding of deal booking trade validation reconciliation and risk management. Experience with LNG gas storage and cross-border capacity advantageous
- Experience working closely with Front Office Back Office Finance Treasury and IT teams
- Strong analytical skills stakeholder communication and ability to resolve trade discrepancies
- Fluency in English is mandatory
