Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Saline MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities ensuring client comfort and promoting independence in a safe and respectful manner. The ideal candidate will be patient reliable and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely using proper techniques.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable compassionate and patient.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required screenings.
- Valid drivers license/ Id card and reliable transportation to be able to make it to the client home.
