Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Pre-Surgical Clinic will provide skilled nursing care including patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The RN may float between units based on unit needs.
Location:Portland Oregon United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Pre-Surgical Clinic.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients providers and other team members.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Float to other units based on unit needs.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills.
- Minimum of two years of hospital home health or hospice care experience.
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Short stay experience.
Special Considerations:

- Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- May be required to float to other units and facilities.
Scheduling:
- Not specified.
- Weekends are not required.
- Block schedules are not required.
- On-call is not required.
