Job responsibility

Area Manageris responsible for timely & cost-effective Network related Projects & Network Operations within the designated area in the cluster.

Major responsibilities include:

  1. Network operations for better & improved customer experience
  2. RoW from local government authorities - DN for more than 250 mtr / official cases Refund of SD/ BG on work completion
  3. Renewal of existing crossings & apply New withrespective Railway Division in the designated area
  4. Integration of Fibre- OSP & IBD into the network
  5. Deliver Network upgrades & network related changes in timely manner
  6. Deliver Network Projects related to Infra transport core access upgrades ring-splitting sustenance Tech refresh Fiber rollout- greenfield G2 to G1 Fiber pair readiness in existing network GPON L2 switch rollout
  7. Partner Performance management of Network Operations & Project (OSP ISP Infra & SD)
  8. Network OEM partner performance
  9. Responsible for Network KPIs in respective areas (OSP ISP SD Infra)
  10. Providing inputs related to network challenges in their respective area
  11. Propose network sustenance requirements in the designated area
  12. Network location access for TP provider/CPO team for customer link termination at the FAT outside the shelter/site.
  13. Responsible for TP to Own media Copper to FTTH migration
  14. Node bypass for asset retrieval
  15. Drive opex saving projects
  16. Responsible for customer delivery and testing within TTL PoP.

The aspirant forArea Manager Ops & Network Project role must have in-depth understanding about the Network & Project deliverables to deliver the same with the partners.

  • Determines the scope budget and schedules for customer service delivery existing and new projects.
  • Submits weekly project status reports to the reporting managers.
  • Delivers within the stipulated time.
  • Follows engineering standards and work as per market engineering specifications.
  • Maintains records of all projects
  • Inspects deployments of customer deliveries as per the quality standards

Working experience with prominent telecom operators for Estate management Service Delivery & Assurance
QualificationB.E./ (Telecom/Communication/Instrumental)
Overall Work Experience

8 to 10 Years in service delivery & assurance
