Job Summary: | The University of Colorado College of Nursing is seeking a Womens Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNP) / Clinical Instructor / Senior Clinical Instructor / Assistant Professor Clinical (Open Rank) in the Non-Tenure Clinical Practice Track for a 0.75 FTE position with our CU College of Nursing Womens Health Faculty Practice at UCHealth Lone Tree Medical Center. This is a full scope position including antepartum intrapartum postpartum well woman and gynecological care. This position is clinically based as a health care provider and includes an instructor-level non-tenure clinical practice track appointment in the College of Nursing. Faculty Practice Description: The CU Center for Midwifery at Lone Tree is a private practice model that works collaboratively with the OB/GYN physicians on staff. We offer patients and families many services including individualized care alternative labor/birth options with referrals to childbirth education lactation services and provider groups within the system and community. The practice provides full-scope midwifery care to patients at the UCHealth Lone Tree Health Center and UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. CFM believes that people benefit from personalized and comprehensive care that focuses on the patient while including the family in the plan of care. The CNM will be part of a midwifery service that has a long and successful history within the University of Colorado system. The practice actively participates in practice development practice promotion and interdisciplinary committees within the UCHealth system. The CU Center for Midwifery at Lone Tree currently consists of 4 Certified Nurse-Midwives. Examples of Work Performed: Provide care in the outpatient clinic setting. Attend monthly practice meetings and participate in a minimum of one practice and/or College of Nursing committees. Educate health care team students (APNs medical students residents) and actively participate in student evaluations. Participate in practice development promotion and community outreach. Active participation in health plan contracts. Remain credentialed by the health plans and ensure credentialing materials stay current. Performs other duties as assigned. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $67810.50 - $76287 annually at Instructor of Clinical Practice/WHNP at 0.75 FTE $68488.61 - $77049.87 annually at Sr. Instructor of Clinical Practice/WHNP at 0.75 FTE $69166.71 - $77812.76 annually at Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice/WHNP at 0.75 FTE The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
