What are we looking for
Due to our fast international expansion we are seeking a Sales Executive for the Sales branch in Johannesburg South Africa where we support mainly FMCG Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology manufacturers within the country.
The ideal candidate will not only bring experience in selling industrial B2B products / solutions or process equipment to end users OEM and Engineering firms but will also demonstrate the capacity to grow into a strong-build team.
Responsibilities
Make cold calls engage with specified customer segments and drive sales growth in assigned areas.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to provide exceptional customer service to generate future sales opportunities.
Customer prospecting to identify and pursue new business opportunities through the entire sales cycle to close new business such as prospection cold calling business trips quotations follow-ups sales closure and payment collection.
Frequent visits and communication to the assigned areas.
Achieve sales goals by following proven processes and developing new ones.
Champion company products by demonstrating product-specific knowledge.
Regularly update the CRM system (Salesforce) with all commercial activities and efforts.
Represent the company in exhibitions and trade fairs (as a visitor or exhibitor).
Act as a role model in sales methodology teamwork and customer approach helping shape best practices for future team growth.
Participate in initiatives that support branch development contributing ideas and showing readines.
Other sales tasks.
Requirements
Bachelors degree (Business Administration Science Economics Engineering or similar).
B2B Sales Experience - 1 to 2 years with a proven track record specifically in green fields and sectors such as the pharmaceutical or food and beverage industries.
Reside within the Gauteng area (preferable).
Driving license class B mandatory.
Proficiency in English (Additional languages i.e. Afrikaans will be a plus).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
CRM experience (Salesforce will be a plus).
Flexibility to travel frequently (minimum 50% of the time).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proactivity initiavite and ownership.
