Job Summary
Role Summary:
The Plant Head / Operations Head will be responsible for end-to-end plant operations including design coordination production maintenance statutory compliances and government liaisoning. The role ensures efficient manufacturing operations aligned with quality cost delivery and safety standards while working closely with EV industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete plant operations including design coordination production planning maintenance and utilities
- Drive manufacturing efficiency productivity improvement cost optimization and capacity utilization
- Ensure smooth execution of new product / process design implementation in coordination with R&D and engineering teams
- Manage preventive & breakdown maintenance ensuring minimum downtime
- Ensure compliance with statutory environmental safety and labor regulations
- Handle government permissions licenses audits and approvals (Factory Act Pollution Control Fire Electrical Inspectorate etc.)
- Liaison with EV industry bodies vendors OEMs and government authorities
- Lead plant manpower foster a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement
- Monitor KPIs related to production quality cost delivery and safety
Desired Profile:
- Engineering graduate (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics preferred)
- Strong exposure to EV / electronics / automotive manufacturing environments
- Proven experience in plant operations government liasoning and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
