Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room
Location: Hyannis MA
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week Every other weekend and holiday
Pay Rate: $75 $80 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Roomfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practices
Assess monitor and document patient conditions throughout admission
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Initiate and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Utilize computerized nursing and clinical information systems effectively
Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities when assigned
Serve as a resource for patient care staff orientation and education
Ensure compliance with safety infection control and blood/body fluid policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
Maintain confidentiality and represent the organization professionally within the community
Consistently provide excellent service to patients families visitors and colleagues
Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
Minimum 1 year of ER travel nursing experience
Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
Strong skills in:
IV administration and IV starts
Ventilator care
Telemetry monitoring
Successful completion of required pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Preferred Qualifications
De-escalation Certification
TNCC ENPC and PALS certifications
