Position: Regional Logistics In-Charge (RLI)
Industry: FMCG (Food & Beverages)
Location: Regional HQ (Mumbai for West & Delhi for North
Role Objective
The Regional Logistics In-Charge will manage end-to-end regional logistics operations ensuring timely
dispatch cost efficiency fleet optimization distributor servicing and compliance across depots and CFA
locations. The role is execution-heavy vendor-driven and cost-focused.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Logistics Operations
• Manage outbound & inbound logistics for multiple depots / CFAs within the region
• Ensure on-time delivery (OTIF) to distributors stockists and institutional clients
• Monitor secondary dispatches aligned with sales demand
2. Transport & Fleet Management
• Manage transporters fleet vendors and route planning
• Negotiate freight rates contracts and SLAs
• Optimize vehicle utilization turnaround time (TAT) and load efficiency
3. Cost & Budget Control
• Control freight cost per ton/km
• Track logistics KPIs and drive cost reduction initiatives
• Ensure adherence to approved logistics budgets
4. Distributor & CFA Coordination
• Coordinate with CFAs depots and distributors for smooth dispatch planning
• Resolve delivery delays shortages damages and claims
• Ensure compliance with FMCG SOPs
5. Compliance & Process Control
• Ensure compliance with GST documentation e-way bills transport laws
• Drive process standardization and audit readiness
• Handle transporter billing reconciliation and dispute resolution
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with Sales Planning Warehouse Finance
• Support sales initiatives through logistics feasibility & execution
