measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
Setup and calibration: Select the correct grinding wheel adjust machine controls and speeds and
calibrate equipment for optimal performance.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance cleaning and oiling of machinery to ensure it is in good
working order and to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Safety and compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures including LockOut/Tag-Out procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Team collaboration: Work with other team members to meet production goals deadlines and to
troubleshoot any issues.

Requirements

Required skills and qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints work orders and engineering specifications.
Familiarity with various types of grinding machines and their operation.
Proficiency with measuring tools like gauges calipers and micrometers.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of relevant safety procedures.
Physical fitness including the ability to lift and carry parts up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Manual dexterity and physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods.
Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
