Role summary:
The P2P BPO Manager oversees a team of P2P analysts within a highvolume sharedservice or BPO environment. The role is accountable for team performance and capacity management operational quality escalation resolution process improvements and close collaboration with finance tax treasury legal and other crossfunctional partners during monthend/periodend activities.
Key responsibilities:
Manage daytoday operations of the P2P BPO team including workload allocation staffing and productivity tracking.
Own team volumes and capacity planning to ensure SLA/KPI adherence and timely delivery.
Serve as escalation point for internal and external stakeholders and lead resolution of complex vendor payment and PO issues.
Drive process improvements and software/tool optimization across P2P functions to improve efficiency and quality.
Create maintain and report on weekly/monthly metrics and management dashboards.
Provide coaching performance management and firstlevel reviews of teamoutputs.
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional partners (Tax Treasury Legal Payroll Procurement FP&A) during monthend and for complex tickets.
Ensure accurate documentation of desktop procedures and support onboarding/transition activities as needed.
Required qualifications:
Minimum 78 years experience in Accounts Payable P2P operations vendor management or related finance operations with at least 23 years in a supervisory or teamlead capacity.
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated ability to manage high transaction volumes and lead a team effectively.
Strong communication stakeholder management and analytical skills.
Proven experience creating and using operational metrics and reporting to manage performance.
Experience with SLA/KPI governance process optimization automation initiatives and qualitycontrol frameworks.
Prior experience collaborating with tax treasury legal and other finance functions on complex payment and periodend issues.
Experience working in a shared services / captive BPO or thirdparty outsourcing environment.
Preferred qualifications:
Professional accounting qualificationpreferred(CA/CPA).
Familiarity with ERPs and P2P/reporting tools (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite Ariba Coupa) and invoice automation technologies.
